Ilmenite
Ilmenite is Egypt's most abundant black sand mineral, constituting 31–44% of the total heavy mineral concentrate along the Mediterranean coast. With a TiO₂ content of 46.61% — verified by Foshan Ceramics Research Institute in 2024 — Egyptian ilmenite is a premium-grade titanium feedstock.
DEXPRO is Egypt's number one exporter of ilmenite, the primary commercial mineral driving black sand revenues. Shipped in bulk or jumbo bags, independently inspected by Control Union before loading.
